Vegan Beauty Product Favorites!

So I’m a product junkie, just gonna throw that out there. My bathroom is stocked with products, anywhere from dry shampoo to essential oils that keep your toenails healthy. I love trying new products & I’m so excited that vegan/paraben free/cruelty free products have become more important to people, so I’ve decided to share some of my favorites with you!

When it comes to my hair, I’m pretty much clueless. I buy hair products, forget how or when to use them, panic, & let them pile up. HOWEVER, I have found a hair product that has made my life, & my hair, exceptionally better & easier (thanks Casey!)! R+Co’s “Death Valley” is technically a dry shampoo, but I use it to hold my curls in as well because it’s lightweight & I usually hate hairspray.

I have tried many vegan deodorants because, well, aluminum in a beauty product can be extremely dangerous. I found that most of them helped with the perspiration BUT did not help with the odor. Ew. THANKFULLY Tarte (seriously one of my favorite brands) has a vegan deodorant called “clean queen” that keeps me smelling fresh as daisies all day long. It has a very light, clean scent, & the bottle itself is super cute so…sold.

I just recently switched to a vegan toothpaste. I stumbled upon the Hello brand at Meijer, so I decided to try it out. I love the extra whitening in “pure mint”, I feel like it really has whitened my teeth & Lord knows I need it, thanks to wine & coffee.

I’ve been using Derma-e’s purifying gel cleanser for a while now, and I feel like it has really brightened up my skin. However, I don’t like that it doesn’t work well with my clarisonic, & it stains the brush head. I might think about switching to another cleanser, especially in the fall/winter when my skin gets a little more sensitive & dry.

I found this everyday coconut eye creme at one of my local grocery stores and I use it every morning and night. It has a nice, silky feeling to it, & is unscented. Plus Alaffia’s mission is pretty amazing. They use the profit of their products to empower women in the African communities. Their goal is to alleviate poverty & encourage gender equality. I will definitely support that.
