I was so excited to write about this place, because it is another absolute favorite of mine in Grand Rapids. Terra is a farm-to-table restaurant with fresh, seasonal ingredients. They promote a healthy lifestyle in a ridiculously delicious way, leaving you completely satisfied.
Remember that “I’ll have what she’s having” scene from When Harry Met Sally? You know what I’m talking about. Well, when I eat at Terra, that is literally me. Except I really am moaning in delight at how incredible the food is. I’m dancing while eating. I’m not even talking to anyone around me because I’m in pure bliss and nothing else matters.
I ordered the Breakfast Pizza which is baked in their wood fire oven. They have gluten free crust available too. The pizza is topped with pastured sander’s bacon. potatoes, local kale. hand-pulled mozzarella, brown butter hollandaise, house-made red sauce, & a cage free sunny side up egg on top. I’m weird & hate bacon (I know, I know) so I left that off. You can also get fennel sausage or chorizo added. We also ordered the Bread Pudding French Toast with Michigan blueberry compote, & housemade ricotta. Lastly, Cody ordered the Breakfast Burrito, filled with black beans, brown rice, cage-free scrambled eggs, farm country cheddar, el milagro flour tortilla, ancho chili sauce & scallions.
I will just let the pictures speak for themselves. Thank you Terra, & I will most likely see you again Sunday.
